The Grain Chain – Resources for schools


The Grain Chain programme is a collaboration of The Federation of Bakers, the Home Grown Cereals Association (HGCA) and Flour Advisory Bureau (FAB). It is the successor to the Flour and Grain Education Programme which was launched in 2002. is a curriculum linked education resource for teachers and parents to inform school-aged children about the story of grain-based food – from the farm to mill to plate.
