Following the Federation of Bakers Ltd Annual General Meeting held on the 11th June 2025, the Chief Executive has announced a new Chairman, and office Holders.
Mr Brian Irwin is the new Chairman with effect from 12th June, following a number of years as Vice Chair. Mr Mike Roberts stood down having chaired the Federation through many challenges from 2017-2025.
Mr Owen Elliott of Jackson Bakery is the new Vice chair. Mr Josh Wesson of Geary’s Bakery is the new Treasurer, following Mr Steve Cook of Fine Lady Bakeries standing down.
Andrew Pyne, Chief Executive of FoB said “I am delighted to welcome Brian as the new Chair of the FoB, having already worked alongside Brian for a number of years. A heartfelt thanks to Owen and Josh for stepping into the vacant roles. I am immensely grateful to Mike Roberts and Steve Cook for their commitments support and leadership of the Federation over many, many years. I am pleased they will both remain part of the FoB Board.
